ABOUT
Lola RABY

Lola is a multidisciplinary artist who loves learning, experimenting and creating interactions between different creative fields.
She has always had a passion for the textile arts, and in 2018 passed a CAP (vocational training certificate) in embroidery and completed several work placements in workshops: Invenio Flory, Vernoux and Broderies Gouvernel.
Inspired by architecture, fashion, design and craft, she has turned her hand to architectural embroidery by creating new materials.
In 2023, she discovered pearl weaving. It was an obvious choice. These real glass fabrics are a subject to be explored, developed and proposed to players in contemporary design.
Atelier MITSOUKO
Atelier MITSOUKO is an art studio specialising in the creation of pearl fabrics, revisiting this age-old skill to achieve excellence.
A design studio, research laboratory and production workshop rolled into one, Atelier MITSOUKO develops, designs and produces one-off pieces and small runs in-house.
Atelier MITSOUKO works with craftsmen and designers to create pieces that are the result of an exchange between different sensibilities.
We have a wide range of samples to meet the plastic and technical requirements of our customers’ projects.
Legacy
Atelier MITSOUKO is named after my grandmother, who wore the Guerlain perfume of the same name.
A textile teacher at the Institut Français de la Mode for over 20 years, she passed on to me her love of fabrics and her passion for beads
and sequins, her curiosity about techniques and her admiration for know-how.
Because she has inspired my life with all these passions, and because each of my creations carries a little of her aura, a little of her fragrance, Atelier MITSOUKO pays tribute to her.

« An art craftsman (…) devotes his body, soul and mind to this task, combining the technique of the virtuoso, the malice of the inventor and the poetry of the creator. »
